**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Taxpayer Services Representative to join our team at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As an IRS Secretary (OA), you will play a crucial role in supporting the Office of Chief Counsel by providing exceptional administrative support.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate efficient operations in the ACC's immediate office.
- Develop and/or modify administrative systems/procedures and record keeping systems to facilitate coordination of the work of the office with both internal and external groups.
- Devises and implements office procedures and practices to be used in subordinate offices.
- Responds to inquiries and problems of an administrative nature not requiring technical knowledge.
- Serves as buffer and acts as liaison between the Associate Chief Counsel and the staff.
- Receives and reviews all incoming mail.
- Produces a variety of written documents utilizing varied and advanced word processing software functions.
- Coordinates with support functions regarding such matters as space, supplies, equipment, equipment repairs, personnel actions, records of disposition and other similar office functions.

Qualifications
- Basic Requirement for Secretary (OA): Office Automation Skills.
- GS-08: Specialized Experience in responding to inquiries and problems of a non-technical nature, maintaining a meeting calendar, screening calls and visitors, and maintaining files and records.
- GS-09: Specialized Experience in performing secretarial/clerical tasks, responding to inquiries and problems of a non-technical nature, maintaining a manager's appointment calendar, screening calls and visitors, maintaining files and records, and scheduling appointments and travel.
- GS-10: Specialized Experience in performing secretarial/clerical tasks, responding to inquiries and problems of a non-technical nature, maintaining a high-level supervisor's appointment calendar, screening calls and visitors, maintaining files and records, locating and scheduling conference or meeting arrangements, scheduling appointments and travel, and advising staff on procedures and policies.
Estimated Salary Range: $54,301 - $79,895 per annum.
