Role Overview: Lead Sales (Key Holder)

In this position, you will motivate customers to express their individuality through their living spaces. Key Responsibilities

  1. Craft memorable experiences for customers by sharing insights on home enhancement.
  2. Support management through daily operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, register management, and back-office functions.
  3. Oversee store performance to ensure financial targets are met and that associates deliver exceptional service.
  4. Maintain visual merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and operational standards during your shifts.
  5. Act as a Sales Captain, exemplifying best practices in sales and customer service, prioritizing the customer experience.
  6. Foster an inclusive environment where all associates are treated with fairness and respect, in line with our People First Philosophy.

Qualifications

  1. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
  2. Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence others through personal conduct.
  3. 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, with a preference for supervisory experience.
  4. 1-2 years of background in home design, visual merchandising, or stockroom operations preferred (experience in specialty retail is a plus).

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to remain active on the sales floor for extended periods.
  2. Capability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
  3. Full-time associates should have flexible availability to accommodate business needs.
  4. Part-Time Flex associates must be available for a minimum of two shifts on weekends and two during the week, with greater availability preferred for those scheduled for 20 hours or more weekly.
