About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead our solar construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct, plan, and manage the overall construction project, ensuring that client requirements are met and projects are completed within assigned schedule and budget.
  • Oversee construction workers and their supervisors, including other Construction Managers, to coordinate activities and ensure compliance with Company safety and procedural policies.
  • Monitor and direct the progress of the construction site, recognizing the need for and negotiating Change Orders as necessary.
  • Manage labor requirements, monitor budget project costs, and ensure production schedules are maintained to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with set regulations and study project cost indexes to adapt and benefit the project.
  • Communicate effectively with large employee groups, owners, or engineers, and maintain and enforce discipline throughout the jobsite.
  • Interview, hire, and train direct reports, plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, and address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Solar or EPC Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven years of construction industry experience, including knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and construction management.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to organize, instruct, and supervise a construction crew in all facets of construction.
  • Considerable knowledge of all construction tools, machinery, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to forecast and monitor costs of project, understand construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
  • Leadership, motivation, and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, email, internet, and other relevant software.
