Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in assigned accounts or regions. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Presents and sells company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Develops and implements action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identifies sales prospects and contacts these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepares presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establishes and maintains current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepares paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  • Manages account service through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Identifies and resolves client concerns.
  • Coordinates company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Complies with Lancaster Foods, Inc. policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related degree preferred.
  • Ability to operate a variety of powered industrial trucks.
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team leader; ability to problem-solve.
  • Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Working Conditions

Ability to sit for up to 8 hours a day, talking on a phone and working on a computer. Withstanding temperature extremes in indoor and outdoor environments. Reading and writing work-related documents in English. Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.

Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication.
