Insight Global is seeking a qualified electrical engineer with 6+ years of experience in supporting a large federal client in Virginia Beach, VA.

This engineer will be responsible for designing electrical board layouts based on embedded blueprint designs and collaborating with other engineers to evaluate the interface between hardware and software.

The day-to-day tasks will include designing electronic circuits, components, and integrated systems, leveraging properties such as ferroelectric, nonlinear, dielectric, phosphorescent, photo-conductive, and thermoelectric.

The ideal candidate will have experience with designing board layouts and schematics, as well as utilizing computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.

Additional responsibilities will include managing field operations and maintenance of electronic installations, evaluating operational systems, and recommending design modifications to address malfunctions or adapt to changing system requirements.

The compensation package for this role includes a salary range of $85k to $100k per year, as well as benefit packages such as health care insurance, paid time off, income protection coverage, 401K retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, and more.
