Physical Therapist

Thom Child & Family Services is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As an Early Intervention Physical Therapist, you will work with infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families in their homes and community settings.
Responsibilities:- Provide home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.
- Partner with parents/caregivers to ensure service delivery is individualized, meaningful, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
- Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
- Act as service coordinator for the family by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan.
- Provide supportive professional assistance to families and facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child's development.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions.
- Experience with infants, toddlers, and families is preferred.
- Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
- Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
