The Production Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the operations of The Salvation Army - Adult Rehabilitation Centers. This position requires a high level of organization, communication, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation of assigned vehicles and equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any issues or incidents.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procedures.
  • Plan and prioritize daily routes, ensuring efficient delivery and pickup of donations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, treating all customers with courtesy and respect.
  • Collaborate with Thrift Store personnel to ensure proper placement and location of delivered items.
  • Supervise and instruct Truck Helpers, promoting good habits and work ethics.
  • Support the work therapy program by providing a positive example of professional conduct and work habits.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable DMV record.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs and read maps.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Medical card and passing a DOT Physical are requirements of the job.
