Production Manager

Job Summary
Regal Rexnord is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising union shop employees, planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the activities of the shop floor, ensuring compliance with established procedures and approved processes.
- Supervise all production operations, including machining, processing, and assembly.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to meet sales orders and inventory requirements.
- Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Provide career development support and track training and development progress.
- Supervise bargaining union employees, including hiring, retention, performance review, and discipline.
- Ensure effective employee relations, provide coaching and development, and resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 10 years of previous leadership experience.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, walk, and occasionally stand.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a moderate noise environment, with occasional need for ear protection.
- Quality orientation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to balance and achieve positive results in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.
