Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. (ARTI) is actively seeking a dedicated Security Intelligence Specialist to support critical operations within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This full-time position offers an opportunity to engage in vital security and intelligence functions.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will be part of the Threat Management Operations (TMO), which encompasses the Internal Security Division (ISD), Insider Threat Division (ITP), and the Center for International Safety and Security (CISS). The ISD is responsible for conducting intricate investigations to safeguard classified information and address potential legal violations. The Insider Threat Division operates the Insider Threat Operations Center (ITOC), serving as the primary defense against internal threats to classified networks. The CISS executes the DHS's Foreign Access Management mission, overseeing and analyzing foreign access to U.S. Government resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze authorities, directives, and policies to support ongoing intelligence and security initiatives.
  • Project future scenarios in complex environments, requiring innovative methods and approaches.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that evaluate multiple factors affecting various focus areas, incorporating long-term planning and problem identification.
  • Utilize judgment and ingenuity to draw conclusions and estimate probabilities based on historical intelligence data.
  • Conduct systematic threat collection through interviews and debriefings to gather intelligence on security and insider threats.
  • Generate accurate reports documenting processes, outcomes, and findings.
  • Facilitate Foreign Access Management (FAM) training for DHS personnel and develop counterintelligence training events tailored to specific needs.
  • Perform risk assessments to safeguard against intelligence activities.
  • Analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities, recommend mitigation strategies, and enhance the protection of critical infrastructure.
  • Coordinate intelligence-related security operations with DHS components to foster collaboration.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree along with eight years of relevant experience. Candidates should have a solid understanding of DHS Component intelligence missions and the significance of both raw and finished intelligence reporting.

Knowledge of intelligence collection methodologies, foreign threats, and counterintelligence techniques is essential. Familiarity with foreign access management principles and the ability to navigate complex security environments are critical.
