Role Overview:

The Quality Assurance Specialist II will actively contribute to promoting KAITEKI values by fostering a positive workplace atmosphere that supports a stable, growing, and continuously improving workforce. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe working environment, optimizing production processes, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a clean and organized production area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of metrology and measurement methodologies.
  • Proficient in utilizing calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, gauge pins, gauge blocks, and other inspection tools.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct inspections utilizing precision measurement instruments and devices.
  • Apply GD&T principles as necessary to complete inspection tasks.
  • Capable of operating products on CMMs, interpreting results, and assessing product conformity.
  • Familiar with making minor adjustments to CMM programs with limited oversight.
  • Compile quality control data and communicate findings to management.
  • Document nonconforming products in accordance with company protocols.
  • Execute AS9102 First Article Inspections and complete associated documentation as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Promote safety practices within the organization.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
