Position Overview

The role of the Quality Inspector-CNC Machining is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and precision of components produced within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct inspections with minimal supervision.
  • Utilize metrology and measurement techniques effectively.
  • Employ various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and solid models accurately.
  • Understand machining processes to facilitate effective communication with production teams.
  • Perform inspections using precision measurement devices.
  • Apply GD&T principles to complete inspection tasks.
  • Operate CMMs to assess product conformity and interpret results.
  • Make minor adjustments to CMM programs as necessary.
  • Summarize quality control data and report findings to management.
  • Document nonconforming products in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections and complete related documentation.
  • Utilize basic statistical methods for evaluating measurement data.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Promote safety practices within the organization.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
