**The Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading a team of part-time stylists.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Contribute to operational excellence by executing back-office operations, including customer follow-up, HR functions, inventory management, register procedures, and merchandising.
  • Drive sales growth through community engagement, event planning, clienteling, and building a social network.
  • Continuously update the store's visual appeal to maximize sales based on current product availability and best sellers.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of part-time stylists to ensure they are equipped to excel in their roles and grow in their careers.
  • Set challenging sales goals for your team and recognize exceptional performance.
  • Address below-target work performance, enforce company policies, and take appropriate action to ensure success.
  • Educate the team on the store's sales plan, store statistics, and personal sales goals, and motivate them to achieve those goals.
  • Build internal relationships across the company to execute store goals and FREEBIRD's overall success.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, retail settings, and community needs to effectively communicate and plan for business growth.

**Requirements**

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative, customer-facing setting.
  • Be highly organized, self-driven, and bursting with personality.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable interacting with strangers.
  • Be flexible with scheduling, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

**What We Offer**

  • Competitive compensation range: $45,000 - $65,000.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
