Key Responsibilities:

  • ABAP Programming: Create, develop, and implement ABAP programs and RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) within the S/4 HANA framework, focusing on FICO modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Foreign Exchange Accounting, and Banking.
  • S/4 HANA Proficiency: Lead and engage in S/4 HANA upgrade initiatives, ensuring familiarity with version transitions, including from earlier versions to the latest SAP S/4 HANA releases. Ensure that all developments adhere to S/4 HANA best practices.
  • SAP BTP Integration: Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to augment the functionality of SAP applications. Engage in integration and extension scenarios using BTP services.
  • ODATA Services Development: Create and maintain ODATA services for SAP applications, ensuring efficient integration and data interchange between SAP and external systems.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide continuous support for ABAP developments, resolve issues, and enhance performance to guarantee system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including FICO, Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and other SAP module teams to comprehend business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Documentation & Standards Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation for all developments and ensure compliance with coding standards and SAP guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • At least 5 years of experience in S/4 HANA developments, specifically with RICEFW components.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Extensive experience in ABAP programming within the FICO domain, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Foreign Exchange Accounting, and Banking modules.
  • Proficiency in SAP BTP and ODATA services.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA upgrades, particularly from earlier versions to the latest releases.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Local Candidates: Preference will be given to candidates based in South San Francisco, CA, who are willing to work on-site five days a week.
