Senior Manager, Statistical Programming

We are seeking an experienced SAS programmer to fill a Senior Manager of Statistical Programming opening. This role will involve hands-on programming for clinical studies, including exploratory analyses, regulatory responses, and defense activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct programming for individual and pooled analyses, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and validate statistical programs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare specifications and datasets according to established standards, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Contribute to study-related documents, ensuring compliance with data standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and address data issues, implementing solutions to improve data quality and reduce errors.
  • Maintain expertise in programming and statistical methods, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Respond to regulatory queries, providing timely and accurate information to support regulatory submissions.
  • Support the statistical computing environment, ensuring efficient and effective data processing and analysis.
  • Work with external vendors and oversee outsourced tasks, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Communicate effectively across functions, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics or related field, with relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience.
  • Proficiency in SAS and visualization tools, with experience in data standards and validation tools.
  • Understanding of clinical protocols and data management, with experience in safety and efficacy analyses.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to manage projects and adapt to changes.
