About the RoleWeCare Centers is seeking a skilled Transportation Aide to join our team at Rolling Meadows in Waynesburg, PA. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of residents, staff, and volunteers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities• Report all pertinent information concerning resident care to appropriate personnel.• Drive facility-provided vehicles to transport residents, staff, and volunteers.• Review daily rehabilitation schedules and be available as indicated.• Provide minimal assistance with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs.• Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.• Valid, unencumbered state driver's license.• 1-2 years of transportation experience preferred.• Previous long-term care experience.• Ability to transport and transfer residents with physical impairments using facility equipment.
