Job Overview

OBJECTIVE

The Client Relations Specialist is responsible for nurturing and expanding customer relationships while meeting designated sales and growth objectives. This role entails acquiring new revenue from accounts, maintaining and servicing existing business clients, and actively seeking profitable growth opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve or surpass sales targets as outlined by management.
  • Proactively manage key accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Expand business within assigned accounts by introducing new or additional products to current buyers and identifying new buyers within existing clients.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in strategic accounts, earning respect from the client's senior management.
  • Promote the full range of the company's products and services.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for account expansion and new business development.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales calls, projects, opportunities, contacts, success metrics, and activities in the CRM system.
  • Complete necessary reports and forecasts as required.
  • Utilize company tools and resources effectively to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Prepare market reports as new information becomes available.
  • Participate in required technical training and development programs within the designated timeframe.
  • Exhibit initiative and proactive engagement with colleagues, peers, and clients.
  • Assist in the training of new sales team members when appropriate.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Fast-paced work environment, involving both office and field activities.
  • Willingness to travel, including potential extended stays away from home.
  • Ability to lift products and displays weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible working hours may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a sales training program or equivalent experience in sales and industry.
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic components and their applications.
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the company's product line is advantageous.
  • Basic awareness of competitive product offerings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in computer usage and quick to learn new software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
