About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician 3 to join our team at Target. As a key technical subject matter expert, you will be responsible for ensuring high equipment availability rates and troubleshooting complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyors, sortation, robotics, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
  • Control and adjust positioning accuracy and timing
  • Control and adjust scanners, cameras, scales, and printer applicators
  • Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components
  • Troubleshoot PLC programs, components, and field buses
  • Configure and adjust PLC parameters and component setup
  • Conduct maintenance and higher-level troubleshooting of any robot type
  • Troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials
Requirements
  • Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver's license
  • Excellent PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices
  • Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
  • Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, work order management, industrial electrical, controls, and electronics, and programmable logic control (PLC) programs
