We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at Krise Transportation, Inc. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including monitoring their behavior and providing assistance as needed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
- Participate in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements.
- Satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records.
- Satisfactory criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Ability to pass an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical and have tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- Ability to participate in and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and random drug and alcohol testing programs throughout employment.
