We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation/Traffic Staff Professional I to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for preparing PENNDOT highway occupancy permits, researching code requirements, conducting traffic evaluations, and assisting in preparing traffic impact studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare PENNDOT highway occupancy permits, including research, writing, drawing, and design calculations
- Research code requirements and conduct traffic evaluations
- Assist in preparing traffic impact studies and other traffic studies
- Prepare construction plans for highway and/or traffic signals
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with transportation/highway/traffic emphasis
- E.I.T. certification
- Course work and/or 0-2 years' experience working on projects that include traffic signalization, traffic studies and analyses, intersection improvements, highway design, and roadway safety design
