We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team at PharMerica. As a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new and refill medication orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • File documentation as required by pharmacy regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Fill drug kits under direct supervision, applying accuracy and aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
  • Match preprinted labels and delivery manifests with source documents, verifying accuracy and completeness.
  • Locate medications from the pharmacy supply area, count out, and package in the correct system, including blister packs and vials.
  • Pre-package medications according to standard procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in other phases of computer operations, including billing procedures, to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Clean all equipment and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Check equipment for calibration and safety, identifying and reporting any issues.
  • Rotate stock as required, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician, preferred.
  • Previous pharmacy experience required.
  • Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
