Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Clinical Specialist ECMO to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for evaluating and recommending appropriate treatment for patients with cardiopulmonary compromise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend treatment for patients with cardiopulmonary compromise
  • Set up, operate, deliver, and discontinue medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, hyperinflation therapy, bronchial hygiene therapy, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, emergency care/resuscitation, and airway management
  • Build relationships with other members of the healthcare team and participate in the realization of each patient's multidisciplinary plan of care
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care from a COARC accredited Respiratory Therapy Program preferred
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (C.R.T.) Required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) is required of all new hires
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with demonstrated and documented competency in clinical and operational systems in place in a comparable RCS division
