The Food Service Attendant plays a vital role in the hospitality sector, assisting guests in the pantry area by providing exceptional customer service and support. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon entering the pantry area.
- Assist customers in finding desired products.
- Address inquiries regarding available merchandise.
- Organize and present products attractively to enhance guest experience.
- Restock shelves as needed, monitor expiration dates, and remove outdated items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.
- Process customer transactions, including handling various payment methods and managing returns or exchanges.
- Verify customer identification when necessary.
- Ensure cash drawer is balanced and secure, handling all financial transactions responsibly.
- Follow established procedures for opening and closing the pantry area, ensuring security and monitoring for potential theft or damage.
