About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow proprietary frosting recipe and application methods to create visually appealing cakes
  • Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes efficiently
  • Prioritize cake pre-orders and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes in the bakery display case
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs
  • Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
  • Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure quality standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation, ensuring frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery or restaurant or in a foodservice environment is a plus
  • Ability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands
