About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Woodmore Towne Centre. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes that meet our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow proprietary recipes and production methods to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Effectively utilize commercial-grade mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
  • Prepare raw ingredients and equipment for baking, and monitor the baking process.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in developing the cake production plan, and monitor inventory of baking supplies.
  • Evaluate raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation, and ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Basic units of measurement knowledge.
  • Physical ability to lift moderate to heavy weights (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work on a fast-paced production schedule.
