Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for various industrial applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and programming PLCs and HMI systems to meet project requirements;
  • Managing major projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet quality standards;
  • Analyzing project requirements and identifying design parameters, engineering challenges, and solutions to implement them accurately, timely, and within budget;
  • Overseeing project workflow and supporting internal and external resources to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Creating and finalizing designs to meet project scope of work and safety requirements, including Bill of Materials and spare part requirements;
  • Collaborating with automation vendors and managing external contractors for installations;
  • Developing engineering drawings using Autodesk products;
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety countermeasures;
  • Specifying and procuring electrical hardware and services;
  • FAT, IO check-out, machine start-up, and commissioning.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, including hands-on PLC programming and project management;
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of industrial controls and electrical systems;
  • Experience in writing, developing, and programming PLCs and controls design.
