We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Account Associate to join our team at USI Holdings Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Benefits Account Associate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of account management, including day-to-day account management, client services needs, and data gathering. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in benefits consulting. As a Benefits Account Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in employee benefit consulting, including training on the USI ONE Advantage processes and best practices. You will also have the opportunity to develop your networking and relationship-building skills through our mentorship program.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day account management across a mixture of business segment clients
  • Participate in fulfilling client services needs, such as coordinating receipt of employee ID cards and client coverage booklets
  • Gather client census data to assist with the renewal process
  • Conduct insurance contract reviews and verify accuracy of client plan documents
  • Provide resolution support for enrollment, premium bill, and escalated claim issues
  • Coordinate applications/forms used to implement insurance products
  • Prepare communication materials needed for client meetings
  • Attend internal and external client strategy meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree achieved between Spring 2024 and Spring 2025
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

What We Offer:

USI offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and paid time off. Additionally, we offer a generous paid time off policy, paid family leave benefit, and paid holiday time.
