Position Overview

Are you passionate about providing compassionate care? In this position, you will be responsible for delivering professional nursing assistance to patients, which encompasses a thorough evaluation of both patient and family requirements, as well as planning, coordination, education, counseling, and direct physical care.

As a CNA, your dedication and empathy will serve as a crucial connection between our patients and the nursing staff, along with other healthcare professionals. You will provide care and services to a diverse range of patients from various ethnic and social backgrounds on a daily basis. Your essential skills in independent decision-making will be vital in determining the best course of action for the patient and their family. Additional responsibilities may include functioning as a unit clerk, monitor technician, performing general clerical tasks, and executing basic nursing procedures.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

Licensure and Certification:

  • Valid Kansas CNA certification is required
  • Current certification in CPR/Basic Life Support is preferred
