Job Title: Food Service Operations Manager

Summary of the Position:

As a Food Service Operations Manager, you will oversee the restaurant's operations, striving to achieve sales and profit targets by implementing and enforcing company policies and performance standards. Your role involves delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a positive work environment for the staff.

Reporting Relationships:
  • Reports directly to the Regional Manager
  • Internally collaborates with store personnel and home office departments
  • Externally engages with guests, vendors, technicians, sales representatives, and community establishments
Leadership Abilities:
  • Demonstrates principled actions and sound judgment
  • Anticipates challenges and makes timely decisions
  • Possesses a deep understanding of food and beverage
  • Leads by example with a guest-centric approach
  • Establishes and shares goals with the team
  • Addresses issues promptly and seeks improvement opportunities
  • Clarifies roles, priorities, and expectations
Position Activities and Tasks:
  • Directly supervises unit management and indirectly oversees hourly employees
  • Focuses on maximizing guest satisfaction and profitability
  • Plans workforce utilization and ensures employee development
  • May need to perform various roles within the restaurant
  • Maintains quality and safety standards for food preparation
  • Manages productivity and service levels
  • Oversees facility maintenance and equipment operations
  • Manages inventory levels and ordering processes
  • Addresses system issues promptly to enhance guest experience
  • Ensures financial accuracy and prepares reports
  • Attends regional meetings and presents as required
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Standing and walking extensively
  • Visual acuity and communication skills
  • Exposure to various environmental factors
  • Mobility, flexibility, and time management skills
  • Ability to handle equipment and lift objects
  • Work under pressure with irregular hours
  • Bending, reaching, walking, and carrying items
  • Exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents

Supervision Received:
Receives guidance and training from the Regional Manager

Education Level Required:
High school diploma with some college experience

Experience Required:
1-2 years of General Manager experience preferred
