Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, audiovisual, and networking systems.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their technical inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate Complex Issues: Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical staff for further assistance and resolution.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other technical support staff to resolve technical issues and improve overall service delivery.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve technical support services.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with Google products.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual systems.
  • Experience with networked printers.
