About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Program Support Specialist to enhance our mission of improving girls' education in underserved regions. This role is pivotal in assisting the Programs Team by fostering valuable connections with grantees and staying informed on the latest developments in the field of girls' education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grant Oversight (50%): Manage and refine our grant portfolio, focusing on identifying potential grantees, supporting the grant application process, and ensuring accurate data management within our systems.
  • Research & Analysis (15%): Conduct thorough research to keep abreast of industry trends and prepare insightful reports that inform our strategic initiatives.
  • Event Coordination (20%): Organize and facilitate meetings, site visits, and events, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Administrative Support (15%): Provide essential administrative assistance, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector.
  • Experience in international education or work with low and middle-income countries is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in database management and technology, with a preference for G-suite experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the capacity to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
