Position: Clinical Unit Coordinator - Registered Nurse, Inpatient Care

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure patient and customer satisfaction through attentive service.
  • Oversee patient staffing assignments and respond to unit needs.
  • Mentor staff and uphold performance standards.
  • Identify challenges and implement solutions for improvement.
  • Engage in staff development and educational initiatives.
  • Serve as a role model for outstanding clinical practice.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program, current RN license in Kansas (BSN preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in clinical nursing (Charge Nurse experience preferred).
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, STABLE.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of nursing principles, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Physical Demands:
  • Medium Work: Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly.
