Position: Clinical Unit Coordinator - Registered Nurse, Inpatient Care

Role Summary:

- Assumes leadership duties and manages daily operations within the unit.

- Facilitate effective communication among team members and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient and customer satisfaction through attentive service.
- Oversee patient staffing assignments and respond to unit needs.
- Mentor staff and uphold performance standards.
- Identify challenges and implement solutions for improvement.
- Engage in staff development and educational initiatives.
- Serve as a role model for outstanding clinical practice.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Education: Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program, current RN license in Kansas (BSN preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of two years in clinical nursing (Charge Nurse experience preferred).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, STABLE.
- Skills: Strong understanding of nursing principles, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Medium Work: Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly.
