Position Overview
SAIC is in search of qualified Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) professionals with active security clearance to contribute to advanced projects. The selected candidates will be responsible for creating models, architectural frameworks, and digital representations for systems and System of Systems (SoS) in alignment with established standards, best practices, and organizational policies. This role is crucial in enhancing Command and Control capabilities for our defense sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ modeling techniques to facilitate requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation throughout the various phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
- Oversee and coordinate information and resources to achieve objectives related to the digital thread. Foster a model-based culture by utilizing the digital enterprise environment.
- Leverage model data to support the development of a digital thread across multiple engineering disciplines, including cybersecurity and configuration management.
Qualifications
Essential Education & Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Research, or related fields that necessitate advanced mathematical skills.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Familiarity with collaborative MBSE/digital environments or similar tools that assist in designing, tracking, visualizing, and analyzing systems through standard-compliant models.
- Understanding of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF).
- Experience in providing technical support for enterprise architecture development to enhance MBSE capabilities.
- Proficiency in tracking cybersecurity implementations throughout the acquisition lifecycle, offering insights on risks and mitigations.
- Ability to produce engineering reports, analyses, briefings, and documentation related to various technical responsibilities.
- Experience in monitoring and documenting cybersecurity evaluations during the engineering and procurement phases.
- Capability to identify risks in developing enterprise architectures to support cybersecurity designs.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active Secret clearance.
Compensation range: $80,001 - $120,000, reflecting the typical salary based on experience and other relevant factors.
SAIC welcomes applications continuously and does not impose a deadline for submissions.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters; however, customer site vaccination protocols must be adhered to when working on-site.
