Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide system engineering support for large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall system engineering expertise in the architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation or testing for the program
  • Develop detailed system architecture/concept of operations briefings, generate systems requirements, and develop other system documentation
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
  • Interface with software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment
Requirements:
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field
  • Relevant work experience may be substituted for a Degree
  • Must have at least eight (8) years of systems engineering experience in system design, requirements development and analysis for large integrated systems
  • Must have experience with programs encompassing system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution, and evaluation
  • Must possess a solid understanding of secure systems engineering and development
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be committed to adopting and adhering to best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Model based systems engineering experience a plus
  • Knowledge of software engineering and development, software testing, and software documentation is desirable
  • GEOINT experience
