Campus Compliance Officer

SUNY Geneseo is seeking a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join the Division of Finance and Administration. As the campus internal control and compliance officer, you will lead initiatives in support of risk management and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and reviews
  • Work with faculty/staff/students on campus and with SUNY System regulatory contacts and external parties as needed
  • Develop and implement compliance programs and policies
  • Provide guidance and support to campus departments on compliance matters
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional related experience
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive working/teaching environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with SUNY and New York State finance and regulatory systems
  • MBA or Master degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
