Customer Service Representative II

The Customer Care Specialist II is a key role in our inbound contact center, responsible for providing exceptional customer support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Document interactions with customers and provide resolutions to their issues.
- Empower customers to make informed decisions by providing knowledge of Manheim's products and services.
- Work collaboratively with boundary partners to identify, document, and monitor all inquiries to create a path to resolution for our clients.
- Provide responsive and timely telephone, chat, SMS, and email support.
- Act as a single point of contact for customer issues from identification through resolution.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
- OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.
- OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Call center and/or client interfacing experience.
- Travel - infrequent, but must have flexibility.
- Schedule - must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required.
- Multi-task and prioritize required. Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at a time.
- Understand foundational levels of computers and technology; internet, email.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, particularly in a phone or email context.
- Experience working in a contact center metrics driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to operate under tight pressure.
- Experience working in the automotive industry preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly base pay rate is $17.40 - $26.06/hour.
- Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
- Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
- Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
