Job Summary

Talent Masters is seeking an experienced and visionary Medical Director to lead our skilled nursing facility (SNF) in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight to our medical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with administrative staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that support our mission and values.
  • Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement: Develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including licensure surveys and regulatory agency interactions.
  • Staff Development and Education: Develop and oversee educational programs for staff, patients, families, and the community to promote person-directed care and support initiatives.
  • Advocacy and Representation: Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and advocate for resident rights and interests.
Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Active State Medical License: Active state medical license in good standing.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g. internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics).
  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience in subacute care, primary care, or geriatric medicine, with strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
