Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Active State Medical License: Active state medical license in good standing.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics).
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in sub-acute care, primary care, or geriatric medicine.
  • Previous Medical Director Experience: Previous SNF or hospital-based medical director experience preferred.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with experience supervising mid-level providers.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Collaborate: Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to Quality Improvement: Commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient-centered care.
