About the Role:

As a Mental Health Intervention Specialist with Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., you will be working in various community settings to provide individualized mental health interventions and support services to children and adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their families.

About the Position:

This position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, and will implement specific treatment goals to enable children and adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of 40+ hours of training OR
* Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services OR
* Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization OR
* Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)

A bonus is available for RBT certification. Bi-lingual skills are not required but are a plus.
