Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process daily shipments of tiles, plumbing supplies, and industry tools.
  • Efficiently pull, pack, label, and prepare orders for collection.
  • Verify incoming items against the Manufacturer's packing list, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Document any discrepancies or damages on freight bills and report issues to the relevant personnel.
  • Conduct general shipping tasks, including manual lifting, packaging, sorting, and labeling.
  • Verify and load customer orders for pickup.
  • Handle returns promptly, checking for damages or defects, and manage inventory accordingly.
  • Maintain positive communication with supervisors, sales personnel, and colleagues.
  • Organize inventory within designated warehouse spaces.
  • Safely operate a forklift and maintain necessary certifications.
  • Participate in product knowledge sessions as required.
  • Ensure facility security by properly storing equipment and securing all entrances.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal throughout the warehouse and common areas.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehousing or distribution is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Follow instructions with minimal oversight.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass drug screening and background checks are required.
  • Basic computer and math skills are necessary.
  • Problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Availability to work from 7:30 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage based on experience and knowledge.
