Job Opportunity

The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) and Operations Assistant to join our team in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Center's IT equipment and systems, collaborating with the Director of Operations and our managed services provider.
  • Troubleshoot technology systems to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including macOS devices, Okta single sign on software, cloud-based systems, and A/V infrastructure.

Operations and Institutional Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Operations and Administrative Assistant with various operational tasks, such as HR and facilities duties.
  • Attend internal meetings and events, representing CNAS externally as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field (computer science, information science, information technology, etc.).
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Based in Washington, D.C. or willing to relocate upon job offer.
