Capital One is a leading financial institution that requires innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. The Card Core Modernization team is seeking a Product Management Director to drive value back to the business and innovation through the use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership to balance maximizing value to the business today while actively enabling the move to a modern core.
  • Interface with stakeholders across the Card Line of Business to drive strategic decisions.
  • Manage a direct organization of ~6 direct product and process associates and 15 engineering teams focused on scalability and resiliency of connective components of the COF ecosystem.
  • Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes by embracing the art of the possible.
  • Establish a long-term product portfolio strategy, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to regularly drive alignment, secure resources, and overcome impediments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital product management, with a focus on Agile product management and translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence a group of executives and communicate product vision clearly to associates and partners.
  • Ability to build and maintain a highly engaged, high-performing team through development within the existing team and recruiting new talent.
