Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Role Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for delivering expert troubleshooting capabilities to support both maintenance and operational teams, ensuring seamless product flow. This role will also involve providing technical guidance and training to craft personnel, addressing recurring design and process challenges, and analyzing equipment and process data to identify improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with craft personnel.
- Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing staff.
- Assist in the evaluation and justification of new equipment.
- Coordinate with other manufacturing departments to resolve technical challenges.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Act as a direct support to the Maintenance Organization.
- Respond to maintenance calls on a 24/7 basis.
Note: This position requires flexibility for shift work and weekend support.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with electrical systems and controls in industrial settings.
- Proficient in installing, programming, and troubleshooting AC and DC drives, as well as Programmable Logic Controllers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5 years of experience with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
- Experience in product and process failure analysis, with knowledge of world-class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM, SPC, and TQM.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
- Solid maintenance background.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, including HART communications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with gas-fired combustion systems is a plus.
