**Location Description**

We are located in a prime area, offering an amazing team atmosphere and a one-of-a-kind hotel opportunity for you to work in. Our property is exclusively for Republic Airways flight attendants, pilots, air traffic control, and other team members attending training at their state-of-the-art training center.

**Job Description**

The Front Desk Representative will:

  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice, listening to understand requests, responding with appropriate action, and providing accurate information about outlet hours and local attractions.
  • Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information with routine difficulty from a computer system, confirming pertinent information, including the number of guests and room rate, promoting Hotel's marketing programs, making appropriate selections of rooms based on guest needs, coding electronic keys, and providing welcome folders containing room keys, certificates, coupons, and refreshment center keys as necessary.
  • Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
  • Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear English communication, inputting messages into the computer, retrieving messages, and communicating their content to the guest, retrieving mail, small packages, and facsimiles for customers as requested.
  • Close guest accounts at the time of check-out and ascertain satisfaction, negotiating compromises, which may include authorizing revenue allowances, remaining calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity, resolving complications such as location changes or credit issues, fielding guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions, and negotiating results.
  • Listen and extend assistance to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating or air conditioning, take ownership of guest challenges, follow through to ensure guest satisfaction, remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations, and heavy hotel activity, plan and implement detailed steps using experienced judgment and discretion.
