Role Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Relocation Services Coordinator to join our team. This crucial role focuses on facilitating a seamless transition for new residents into their homes. The coordinator will engage with future residents, assisting them with home sales, moving logistics, and downsizing efforts, ultimately alleviating the stress often associated with relocating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting relationships with future residents by visiting their homes to understand their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with real estate agents and future residents to prepare homes for sale and outline necessary steps for moving.
  • Support residents throughout the moving and downsizing process, providing resources for selling, donating, or disposing of belongings.
  • Assist with furniture placement and downsizing based on the new living space layout.
  • Coordinate assessments to identify refurbishment needs and potential upgrades for residences.
  • Show residences to prospective residents.
  • Manage the move-in process, ensuring clear communication regarding occupancy and closing dates.
  • Lead regular meetings with the Renovation Team.
  • Follow up with residents to resolve any issues related to home sales and moving.
  • Maintain updated resources for moving and coordinate inspections with the Renovations Supervisor.
  • Keep the Custom Design Center informed of current trends and pricing.
  • Oversee the selection process for future residents regarding custom options.
  • Introduce new residents to their homes and community amenities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute promotional events.
  • Document selections, pricing, and approvals from residents.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Mission Advancement.
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident information and operational procedures.
  • Gather and communicate market trends and demands to the Vice President of Mission Advancement and Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
  • Experience in real estate is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the construction or home repair industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service with a focus on ethics and sensitivity.
  • Enjoyment in working with elderly populations and proven skills in this area.
  • Ability to create a comfortable environment for residents, addressing their concerns and providing solutions.
  • Strong listening skills with the capacity to remember details about residents' preferences.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines with composure.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and public relations skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in database management is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
