ROLE OVERVIEW:

As an Irrigation Systems Technician, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the maintenance of our clients' irrigation systems. This encompasses installation, start-up procedures, inspections, repairs, and seasonal preparations. You will also play a crucial role in enhancing the functionality and visual appeal of properties through various related tasks. Delivering exceptional client service is essential, ensuring timely support, respectful communication, and necessary information dissemination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct installations, start-ups, inspections, repairs, and seasonal preparations of irrigation systems.
  • Evaluate new underground irrigation systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve irrigation system challenges.
  • Effectively utilize outdoor maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the team or independently in varying weather conditions.
  • Engage in physical labor on a daily basis.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Guide team members on application techniques.
  • Take necessary actions to meet job requirements satisfactorily.
  • Follow company dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Assist in the upkeep of equipment.
  • Support snow removal operations during winter months.
  • Perform additional duties to uphold the mission of Weller Brothers.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • At least one year of relevant industry experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position involves substantial physical activity and lifting throughout an 8-hour workday.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position with flexible hours based on business needs and weather conditions.
