Overview:
Our esteemed client is seeking an Imaging Equipment Technician to enhance their dedicated team. The selected candidate will execute responsibilities with minimal oversight, focusing on the maintenance and repair of various imaging technologies, including dental x-ray, portable x-ray, ultrasound, x-ray film developers, computed radiography systems, film printers, and C-arms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and rectify equipment failures on clinical imaging and radiation therapy apparatus.
- Conduct safety and preventive maintenance evaluations on clinical imaging and radiation therapy devices to ensure compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Guide fellow technicians in preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques for clinical imaging equipment.
- Engage in special initiatives, such as evaluating new equipment, managing recalls, reporting incidents, and assisting in the design of clinical equipment installation areas.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- AAS degree in Electronic or Instrumentation Technology with a focus on Biomedical Engineering Technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent military training in the biomedical and imaging field is required.
- Basic computer proficiency is essential; advanced networking and system integration skills are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret schematics and mechanical diagrams is necessary.
- A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for servicing offsite locations are required.
