Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the coordination, design, and delivery of nursing and patient care services.
  • Identify innovative strategies to optimize cost efficiency while upholding exceptional standards of patient care.
  • Provide specialized knowledge on topics addressed by the project team.
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement effective programs.
  • Advise on project strategies, determine optimal methods and processes, and develop comprehensive project plans, facilitating group processes and training.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish project charters, frameworks, visions, and deliverables.
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of research initiatives.
  • Monitor project timelines and budget adherence.
  • Manage the contributions of internal and external consultants.
  • Oversee all communications, representing the project to various groups.
  • Develop and execute a robust implementation plan.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in management, project management, or operational planning.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field (such as management, organizational development, or health services administration) is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:
  • Registered Nurse License (California).
Additional Skills:
  • Expertise in healthcare operations, care delivery, and clinical processes.
  • Proven ability to conceive, plan, and manage collaborative projects.
  • Understanding of strategic business issues within the healthcare industry, including knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with the Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other applicable regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Kaiser Permanente is advantageous.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
