Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the coordination, design, and delivery of nursing and patient care services.
- Identify innovative strategies to optimize cost efficiency while upholding exceptional standards of patient care.
- Provide specialized knowledge on topics addressed by the project team.
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to implement effective programs.
- Advise on project strategies, determine optimal methods and processes, and develop comprehensive project plans, facilitating group processes and training.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish project charters, frameworks, visions, and deliverables.
- Ensure the quality and effectiveness of research initiatives.
- Monitor project timelines and budget adherence.
- Manage the contributions of internal and external consultants.
- Oversee all communications, representing the project to various groups.
- Develop and execute a robust implementation plan.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in management, project management, or operational planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field (such as management, organizational development, or health services administration) is required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse License (California).
- Expertise in healthcare operations, care delivery, and clinical processes.
- Proven ability to conceive, plan, and manage collaborative projects.
- Understanding of strategic business issues within the healthcare industry, including knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with the Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other applicable regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Experience with Kaiser Permanente is advantageous.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
