We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist II to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Patient Access Specialist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Complete the financial clearance process for patients, including pre-registration, registration, and insurance verification.
- Interview patients and guarantors to gather insurance information and verify eligibility.
- Work closely with medical staff, nursing, ancillary departments, and insurance payors to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, guarantors, and family members, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
- One or more years of customer service experience and applicable computer knowledge and skills.
- Post-Secondary Education preferred.
- One or more years of experience in a clinical setting with registration experience preferred.
- Previous Epic experience preferred.
