Job Description:

At TSMC Arizona, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our 5-nanometer fab, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability in our production process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement strategies to reduce DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million) through Continuous Improvement Processes.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues in our fab event handling processes.
  • Utilize structured methodologies, such as PDCA and 8D, to analyze and resolve technical problems.
  • Evaluate the impact of Engineering Changes on product Quality and Reliability.
  • Review and ensure compliance with procedures and Quality and Reliability criteria.
Customer Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure seamless product delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Reliability, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor quality and reliability, integration, or product engineering.
  • Familiarity with 4082 / MPPT / Sagi, with proficiency in Excel VBA and Python programming.
  • Experience with process reliability, including TDDB, HCI, BTI, EM, and SM.
