Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Radiologist to join our team at Tufts Medicine. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to research and education initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret body CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain films, and fluoroscopic GI contrast studies (8 AM - 5 PM) without IR procedures required.
  • Collaborate with GI medicine, surgery, transplant, urology, gynecology, and oncology departments through regular multidisciplinary conferences.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects and provide support for medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Assume weekend on-call responsibilities (8 AM - 5 PM) from home workstations with remote access provided.
  • Contribute to administrative and academic tasks commensurate with responsibilities and receive clinical incentives and academic contributions rewarded annually.

Academic Rank & Leadership Opportunities

The appointed Radiologist will hold the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine based on qualifications and have opportunities in medical education, training programs, and department administration.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent degree with Board eligibility/certification (ABR or AOBR).
  • Expertise in multimodality body imaging, including cancer and liver transplant imaging.
  • Medical licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $300,000 - $500,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include opportunities for leadership roles, academic productivity incentives, visa support, and a vibrant city lifestyle in downtown Boston.
